Didi Gregorius May Need A Couple Days Off
5 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius (shoulder) suffered a right shoulder bruise when he was hit by a pitch from Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw on Sunday. He left the game in the third inning, but manager Aaron Boone said that X-rays didn't show any structural damage. Gregorius is optimistic that he might be able to return after a couple of days off. The 29-year-old got a late start to the year but has been solid with a .263/.293/.479 slash line, 13 home runs, 37 runs and 44 RBI in 236 at-bats. Make sure you take him out of your lineups to begin the week, though.
