Didi Gregorius Hits 21st Home Run In Sunday's Win
6 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius had a great day at the plate on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. He went 2-for-4 with a single and a two-run home run. It was his 21st of the season, as well as his fifth against left-handed pitching. Often overlooked at the shortstop position due to the likes of Francisco Lindor and Carlos Correa, Gregorius has been a steady presence for the Yankees and fantasy owners as of late. He's batting .318 in August with eight runs batted in. His season slash line increased to .270/.334/.481 with an .815 OPS. He'll come cheaper than the bigger names at shortstop in daily fantasy, and is a shrewd play against left-handed pitching.
