Didi Gregorius Continues His Mammoth April
7 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius seems well on his way to Player of the Month honors as he’s gotten off to a monstrous start in this 2018 season. Wednesday night, he drove in a run in his first plate appearance, drilling a single to right field. In his next plate appearance, which came in the third, he smacked a solo home run to right field, igniting what would be a 7-4 Yankees victory. The 28-year-old currently leads the majors in batting average and RBI, while trailing the leader in home runs by one. Batting third in the Yankees lineup, he’s the leader of the unit.
