Devontae Booker Leads Giants With 41 Rushing Yards
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Devontae Booker rushed 12 times for 41 yards and secured all four targets for 28 yards in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He led the Giants backfield with 12 carries, but backup RB Elijah Mitchell hit paydirt in the fourth quarter for the Giants' only touchdown of the game. Despite missing out on the scoring opportunity, Booker did muster 69 total yards in Sunday's loss. The 29-year-old will draw the start of Week 7 in a tough matchup against the Carolina Panthers if Saquon Barkley (ankle) remains sidelined. Booker is a flex play and a borderline RB2 if next Sunday if Barkley is ruled out.
