Devontae Booker Among Week 4 Deep Sleepers
6 years agoDenver Broncos running back Devontae Booker has lost practically every bit of fantasy value after entering the off-season as the presumed starter in this Broncos offense. Well, despite falling to the third option at RB, Booker's nine targets are one more than the eight which fellow RBs Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman have seen, combined. It's no secret that the Broncos Week 4 opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs, feature a highly prolific offense. But, what you might not know is that opposing RBs have averaged 8.7 receptions and 105 receiving yards per game against them with two backs finding the end zone through the air. Broncos QB Case Keenum hasn't been one to favor dumping the ball off to his backs (his 16.7 percent target rate to RBs ranks seventh-lowest among starting QBs) but in what could be a high-scoring affair, Booker has the potential to offer some nice value per dollar in GPP contests.
