3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith had an amazing matchup in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions but ended up only seeing three targets. It was mostly because the Eagles were ahead all game and had no problem moving the ball on the ground, but it was also because quarterback Jalen Hurts has been really struggling in the passing game. A Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers should provide a much better game script for Smith, but he'll face a brutal defensive secondary that has been great at keeping wide receivers in check all season long.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
