12 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught five of 10 targets for 73 yards and lost a fumble during the team's 13-33 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14. The 25-year-old did not see his target share dip with the return of tight end Dallas Goedert to the lineup but committed a crucial fumble in the fourth quarter that all but sealed the Eagles' chances at mounting any sort of comeback against their division rival. In his defense, both Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown fumbled the ball in scoring range earlier in the game as well, so the loss was not entirely on his turnover. The Eagles' remaining schedule is much easier than they have gone through over the past month, keeping Smith squarely in the WR2 conversation for fantasy managers looking toward the playoffs.
