3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith has an excellent matchup in his first real NFL game. Smith and the Eagles take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Their defense can stop the running game very well, but they were easily exploited through the air last season. Smith is coming off one of the best offensive seasons in college football history and played against high-end competition, meaning he should be able to play well against NFL defenses as well. Smith has sky-high upside, but it remains to be seen if he gets off to a slow start after missing some practice and preseason time with an injury. He's fully healthy and expected to start on the outside with Jalen Hurts under center. There's huge variance in the expectations for Smith in Week 1, but he's somewhere in the WR3 range.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
