DeVonta Smith Leads Eagles In Receiving In Week 12
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught four of nine targets for 50 yards during the team's 40-33 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The second-year receiver was held to a mediocre fantasy finish with only 16 completed passes for Philadelphia on Sunday night. Smith finished with 32.1% of the team's total targets but failed to find the end zone for the second week in a row. He battled all night with Green Bay's top corner Jaire Alexander and got the better of him on a couple of receptions, but ended the game with his third-lowest reception total of the season. Smith has a bounce-back matchup against the Tennessee secondary next week but should be considered a boom-or-bust WR2/3 due to the Eagles' success running the football at a high rate.
