DeVonta Smith Has WR2 Upside In Week 11
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (knee) will go on the road to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. He is dealing with a knee issue that left him limited in Wednesday's practice, but it is not expected to keep him out for Sunday's game. The 24-year-old had a decent fantasy performance last Monday against Washington, seeing his target share rise back to eight, catching six for 39 yards and a score. He has not topped 45 yards since Week 5 but should be the biggest beneficiary in terms of targets, with Dallas Goedert (shoulder) being placed on Injured Reserve. Indianapolis is a stiff matchup, as the team has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position. However, with Goedert out and A.J. Brown (ankle) dealing with an injury of his own, Smith could see enough targets for the matchup not to matter. Consider the second-year receiver a fringe WR2 in Week 11.
