DeVonta Smith Has High Upside Against Giants
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith will face the New York Giants in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs this Saturday. The sophomore receiver led the Eagles in targets this past regular season, garnering eight or more every week since Week 10. The presence of A.J. Brown has allowed him to thrive against No. 2 corners, and even the return of tight end Dallas Goedert from a shoulder injury did not stop him from seeing an elite target share. With top corner Adoree' Jackson likely to stick to Brown for the majority of the contest, Smith should see another hefty target share with a good chance at finding the end zone. Many playing DFS this weekend will likely gravitate toward Brown, but Smith is a cheaper option that arguably has just as high of an upside. Consider Smith a top-10 fantasy receiver this weekend with a top-five ceiling.
