DeVonta Smith Gets Back On Track In Win Over Washington
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught all seven of his targets for 99 yards and a touchdown during the team's 38-31 win over the Washington Commanders. It looked like the 24-year-old would be held out of the end zone again with teammate A.J. Brown catching two touchdowns, but Smith found his way into the end zone after torching the Washington defender for a long touchdown catch to tie the game. Brown extended his 125 or more receiving yards streak to a record-setting six games, but Smith got back on track despite that fact. Both receivers will need to be on top of their game next week against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys.
