5 years agoIt was a nightmare of an opening week for Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman. The Vikings suffocated the Falcons' running game, holding Freeman to just 19 yards on eight carries. Ito Smith was the team's leading rusher on the game, gaining 31 yards on six carries. Freeman had four targets through the air and caught three of them for 12 yards and he also lost a fumble. While this was certainly a discouraging start to the season for the Falcons No. 1 running back, Freeman owners shouldn't panic yet. He should still get plenty of carries in an elite offense going forward. Hopefully he can rebound next week against the Eagles.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
