Devon Allen Shows Off His Speed In 110M Hurdles
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Devon Allen, who is also a sprinter who competed in the 2016 and 2021 Summer Olympic Games, ran the 110-meter hurdles in a blazing-fast 13.04 seconds at the 2023 USATF New York City Grand Prix. While he placed second at the event, his time was good for the fourth-fastest in the world in 2023. Allen played football for the Oregon Ducks from 2014 until 2016. He caught 41 passes for 984 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie, but his production declined in the following years. Upon graduation, he focused on track and field, but he signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent after visiting their training facility in 2022. The 28-year-old spent last season on the practice squad, but he is currently listed as the Eagles WR5 on the depth chart, and he has a chance to make the active roster this season.
