Devlin Hodges Performs Admirably As Backup
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges completed 5 of 11 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Bengals. The rookie replaced Mason Rudolph in the third after Rudolph went just 8-for-16 for 85 yards and an interception. Hodges made an immediate impact, finding James Washington for a 79-yard catch-and-run. It will be interesting to see if the Steelers stick with the rookie over Rudolph, but the latter hasn't been very good of late. Regardless of who the starter is in Week 13 against the Browns, neither option would be deemed fantasy-worthy.
