Devin Williams Hits 20-Save Mark
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Devin Williams was asked to protect a 1-0 lead versus the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday. The right-hander needed only 15 pitches to retire the side in order. The All-Star closer wraps up his first half with an outstanding 1.89 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and a 45/18 K/BB. After this, Williams hit the 20-save mark on the season with only two blown saves so far. The 28-year-old should remain one of the best closers in baseball.
