Devin Smeltzer Earns Win On Sunday
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Devin Smeltzer worked the second two innings of the opener on Sunday and picked up his first win of the season. The 24-year-old allowed two hits, one run and walked one batter while striking out a pair. It was a much better outing this time around for Smeltzer, who was shelled for five runs and two homers against the White Sox on July 25. He won't have too many chances to be fantasy-relevant this year, unless an injury forces him into action. Smeltzer is best left to the waiver wire.
