Devin Mesoraco Leaves Early With Bruised Wrist
Devin Mesoraco left Tuesday's game early with a bruised right wrist. He was taken for X-rays, which came back negative. Mesoraco, the Reds' backup catcher, was hit by a pitch in the second inning and departed during the sixth, giving way to regular starter Tucker Barnhart. Mesoraco is hitting .250 with one home run and two RBI in nine games for the Reds this season. Until the team updates his status, Mesoraco can be considered day-to-day.
