Devin Booker Scores 31 Points, Leaves Late With Injury
4 years agoPhoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (hamstring) had another strong outing in Friday's overtime loss to the Nuggets, though he also had to leave late with a hamstring injury. Booker scored 31 points along with five boards, five assists, three treys, a steal, and a block in 40 minutes. The 24-year-old had to limp off after overextending himself on a rebound attempt- and head coach Monty Williams said they'll be without him for Saturday's rematch with the Nuggets. It doesn't appear to be a serious ailment, which is good news for Booker and his fantasy managers, as he's been playing his best ball of the season in January. If Phoenix is indeed without him, it could mean more usage for Mikal Bridges, Deandre Ayton, and Cameron Johnson.
