Devin Booker Bounces Back With 43 Points
7 years agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker scored a season-high 43 points on 14 of 29 shooting in a 111-118 loss against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday. Booker has struggled with his shot in 2018, connecting on just 40 percent of his attempts in January. Booker would add eight assists and five treys, including a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe. With T.J. Warren (back) out, Booker will continue to shoulder the load on offense for the tanking Suns. The sweet-stroking guard will look to stay hot the rest of the way, as he's flirting with top-40 value on the year. The next step for Booker to play his way into an elite fantasy asset is to continue providing assists and steals, something he hasn't done on a consistent basis yet. Unfortunately for Booker owners, the Suns only play once more on Friday against the Nuggets. However, that should be a fun, up-tempo game to target Booker in daily fantasy leagues, especially if Warren is out.
