DeVante Parker, A.J. Derby Inactive For Week 7
6 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker (quadriceps) and tight end A.J. Derby (foot) are both inactive for Week 7 against the Lions. Parker and Derby both practiced this week, so they are more of healthy scratches. Parker has played in just two games this year and has just two catches for 40 yards. He's quickly fallen out of favor as a first-round bust, and the Dolphins are looking to trade him before the Oct. 30 deadline. Leave him to the waiver wire if you haven't already done so. Derby's absence means rookie Mike Gesicki should see a healthy amount of snaps, although that hasn't led to him being fantasy relevant at all yet this year. Defensive end Cameron Wake (knee) will return after a two-game absence after having minor knee surgery. His presence is good news for a pass rush looking to make life difficult for quarterback Matthew Stafford.
