8 months agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane (back) is ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Bane will miss his third consecutive game due to back soreness continuing to bother him. Memphis' season is over when it comes to the playoff race, but they brought back Bane from his previous ankle injury in mid-March after missing over two months. Bane averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 assists, and 2.8 three-pointers per game in five games before the back pain became a problem. Grizzlies' management may consider shutting him down as the disappointing season reaches an end. Luke Kennard, Scotty Pippen Jr., and Jordan Goodwin are the leading names to benefit from more playing time in any games that Bane sits out.--Joey Haverford - RotoBaller
