Deshaun Watson Doing Well In Rehab
7 years agoHouston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said quarterback Deshaun Watson (knee) is "on schedule" to be ready to take part in training camp in July after tearing the ACL in his right knee last year. "He's doing a good job in his rehab," O'Brien told NFL Network's "Good Morning Football." "I think he's on schedule to be able to participate in training camp. We're excited about that." In just seven games before his injury in his rookie season, Watson completed 61.8 percent of his passes for 1,699 yards, 19 touchdowns and only eight interceptions, and he also ran 36 times for 269 yards and two scores. There is injury risk here, but Watson has tons of upside as an elite QB1 in just his second season in the NFL.
