DeSean Jackson Leads The WR3 Race
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams had strong underneath receivers last year, but they made the move this offseason to add some speed on the outside in the form of veteran DeSean Jackson, who had spent the last two years with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson has struggled with health over the last few seasons, but when he's been on the field, he's been a big play waiting to happen with an average yards per reception of 16.2 or better in all but one of his last eight seasons. The Rams also drafted rookie Tutu Atwell in the second round, but Atwell still has to get ready for the speed of the NFL game before he's ready to take over that role. Until then, Jackson will have a hold on the third wide receiver job.
