Derrius Guice's Rehab Delayed By Infection
6 years agoWashington Redskins rookie running back Derrius Guice (knee), who suffered a torn ACL in the first preseason game, has dealt with an infection in his knee that has delayed his rehab. Guice required three additional surgeries to combat the infection. The No. 59 overall pick of the draft was expected to have a big role in the running game this year. There is no timetable on when his recovery will be over, and he's just hoping to be ready when organized team activities start early in the summer. Guice's fantasy value heading into the 2019 season will be based on how much he can do heading into training camp, but this is clearly bad news. He should be stashed in dynasty/keeper formats.
