Derrick Rose Puts Up Another Great Scoring Performance
5 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Derrick Rose continued his great start to the season on Saturday, scoring a game-high 31 points in a 117-111 loss to Philadelphia. The former league MVP logged 27 minutes off the bench, shooting 14-for-21 from the field. Rose also did a very good job in other areas, notching three assists, three rebounds, three steals and a pair of blocks. With Blake Griffin (knee, hamstring) on the shelf, Rose has been Detroit's top scorer through three games with 25.3 points and he also leads the team in assists, recording five dimes per night. The Pistons face Indiana next against whom Rose had 18 points and nine assists in the season opener.
