Derrick Rose Out On Wednesday
1 year agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Derrick Rose (knee) won't play on Wednesday versus Utah. The former MVP is dealing with left knee soreness and has to skip the game after opening the season in fine form. Rose has averaged 8.0 points with 2.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists. He produced 16 points off the bench in the team's second game of the year against Denver. With Ja Morant still suspended, losing Rose is far from an ideal situation for the Grizzlies, but the team is expected to get Luke Kennard (concussion) back into the rotation on Wednesday. He should share Rose's minutes with John Konchar.
