Derrick Rose Notches 23 Points Off The Pine
4 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose turned back the clock on Sunday, delivering a nice 23-point performance off the bench in a 122-112 overtime win against the Pelicans. He finished with 9-for-17 shooting from the field and had five assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block with two turnovers in 35 minutes. Rose, who was 2-for-4 with the three-ball, has been a valuable piece for the Knicks, and he's been a consistent scorer, but the veteran guard had yet to reach the 20-point plateau since coming over from Detroit. The former MVP could be in for a good scoring performance again on Tuesday against the Hornets, who are allowing the 11th-most bench points in the league this season.
