Derrick Nnadi Signing With Jets
1 min agoFree-agent defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi is signing an undisclosed deal with the New York Jets on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The multi-time Super Bowl winner with the Kansas City Chiefs will head to the AFC East after spending the first seven years of his NFL career in Kansas City after the Chief took him in the third round (75th overall) in the 2018 draft out of Florida State. Although the 28-year-old wasn't a lineup regular for the Chiefs in 2024 (he only started one of 17 regular-season games), he has appeared in all 17 regular-season games in each of the last four seasons and has missed just one game in his seven years. Nnadi has 233 total tackles (109 solo), five sacks, seven tackles for loss, eight QB hits, an interception and a forced fumble in his 115 games played (87 starts). It's possible that Nnadi could start more in 2025 with his move to New York.
