Derrick Henry Reportedly Suffers Season-Ending Foot Injury
3 years agoTennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry reportedly suffered a season-ending foot injury, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. He will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the injury on Monday. Henry reportedly was getting medical attention on the sideline as his right cleat was off, and the Titans star running back appeared to be walking gingerly towards the end of the first half of Sunday's win over the Colts. The 27-year-old did return to the game, but it seems Henry suffered a significant injury in Week 8. Jeremy McNichols will be the Titans' primary back while Henry is sidelined. McNichols has rushed for 38 yards on seven attempts while catching 21-of-27 targets for 203 yards and a touchdown over eight games. Mekhi Sargent is expected to be called up from the practice squad and could be in the mix for touches out of the Titans backfield. According to Adam Schefter, with Henry being out indefinitely, running backs Tevin Coleman, David Johnson, Phillip Lindsay, Ty'Son Williams, Melvin Gordon, Ronald Jones, Mike Davis, and Rashaad Penny are available via trade. Stay tuned for further updates.
