Derrick Henry Not Traded To Eagles
2 years agoAccording to former NFL player Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, running back Derrick Henry was traded to the Eagles on Saturday morning. However, the report appears unfounded, with Sports Illustrated confirming no details have emerged since the supposed deal. John Mullen, who covers the Eagles for SINow, also chimed in, Tweeting, "Derrick Henry would be the least-Eagles-y thing ever." It's no secret that Philadelphia historically hasn't valued the position, a reason why Miles Sanders is now a Carolina Panther, so it would be surprising if the Eagles went in that direction. Since the end of the 2022-23 campaign, the Pro Bowler has been linked to several teams, with Dallas rumored to have emerged as a potential suitor on Saturday night. That said, Henry's name could be mentioned often moving toward the 2023 NFL Draft, although his fantasy outlook will remain a mystery until it's confirmed where he'll be playing this season.
