Derrick Henry Could Be Traded This Offseason
2 years agoTennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is reportedly being shopped this offseason, so he could be traded before the 2023 NFL Draft. The Titans have released several veteran players and look to be shifting into a rebuild under new general managers Ran Carthon. Henry is currently under contract with a 2023 cap hit of $16.3 million, so trading him could be complicated. Christian McCaffrey just fetched a large haul on the trade market, but Henry isn't the receiver and all-purpose weapon he is. That said, Henry's trade market is probably around a third-round draft choice. Tennessee could be looking to change its offensive identity, meaning good things could be ahead for Treylon Burks and Chig Okonkwo. It'll be interesting to see who is in the market for the former two-time rushing champion.
