D'Ernest Johnson Impressing At Jaguars Camp
1 year agoJacksonville Jaguars running back D'Ernest Johnson is drawing praise during training camp. The 27-year-old ball carrier signed with the team this offseason on a one-year deal after four years with the Cleveland Browns. John Shipley of Jaguar Report says he's an early riser this offseason. "D'Ernest Johnson just keeps making plays. He had the offensive sideline go crazy over two long runs on Monday," wrote Shipley. "He will be one to watch when the pads come on. " Third-round rookie running back Tank Bigsby seems to be Johnson's primary competition for the RB2 role behind Travis Etienne. Whoever wins that job could be a premium handcuff option in 2023 fantasy football in the Jaguars' ascending offense.
