Derick Brassard Replaces Tyler Pitlick Monday Night
4 years agoArizona Coyotes forward Derick Brassard will return to the lineup on Monday against Minnesota, replacing Tyler Pitlick (lower body) who got injured in Saturday's 3-2 win over St. Louis. Brassard missed the game at the weekend as a healthy scratch. The veteran forward has had moderate success this season with eight goals and 16 points in 43 games. He's not been a consistent performer but has come up with a few big plays. The 33-year-old is tied for the second-most power-play goals (4) on the team. Darcy Kuemper, who hasn't lost any of his previous five appearances, will be between the pipes against his former team.
