12 months agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr has struggled in recent weeks, failing to throw for a touchdown in his last two games. Carr may be in for another tough outing in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions with his weapons banged up. Chris Olave (concussion protocol) has logged back-to-back limited practices, while Rashid Shaheed (thigh) has not practiced this week and Michael Thomas (knee) is on the injured reserve. Even with limited weapons, the Detroit defense ranks 29th against opposing quarterbacks and has been a pass-funnel defense in 2023. Carr can be started in desperation with key quarterbacks such as Lamar Jackson, Justin Fields, Josh Allen, and Joshua Dobbs on bye, but beware his low floor with a lack of available pass-catchers.--Brant Henson - RotoBaller
