Derek Carr Does Enough In Comeback Win
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr completed 24-of-31 passes for 255 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against the Indianapolis Colts. The signal-caller didn't play that well, but he was able to work with his medley of lackluster receivers to craft a win against a good team to keep his team in the hunt. Carr's hot start to the season was quickly debunked, and lately, his mediocrity in fantasy has been showcased. Still, it must be recognized that Carr's top receivers consist of Hunter Renfrow and Zay Jones with tight end Darren Waller out. Therefore, if the Raiders bring in more talent in the off-season, Carr could quickly become a late-round flier and comfortable waiver wire option next season. The 30-year-old is a decent QB2 or backup in Dynasty and Superflex leagues, but he will remain relatively irrelevant in standard leagues until further notice.
