4 years agoDerek Brunson did what many did not expect him to do, and that was knock out the young prospect in Edmen Shahbazyan. Hopefully you read your preview here on Brunson and decided to start him in your lineups. Brunson landed over double the significant strikes as Shahbazyan, landing 88 significant strikes. The bout almost could have been called at the end of the second round when Brunson appeared to have knocked Shahbazyan out as the bell rang. The 36-year-old has struggled getting over the biggest names in the division, and hopefully this huge win can help propel him over that hill for a title push.--Matt Bricker
