The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Deonte Harty's restricted free-agent tender. He will be back with the team on a $4 million deal in 2022. The artist previously known as Deonte Harris legally changed his surname to Harty this offseason to pay respects to his stepfather. The 24-year-old caught 36 of his 59 targets for 570 yards and three touchdowns in 2021. He was also one of the team's primary kick and punt returners last year. The Saints drafted rookie wideout Chris Olave on Thursday night. Assuming Michael Thomas is back in action this year, then Harty won't have much of a receiving role with the team as Thomas, Olave, Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith all figure to be ahead of him on the depth chart.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
