Deonte Harris A Dart-Throw Play Against Carolina
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Deonte Harris will attempt to carry his Week 1 success into a matchup with the Panthers. Harris led the Saints in receiving yards last week, totaling 55 of his 72 yards on a deep touchdown pass from Jameis Winston. The speedster only played 44 percent of the offensive snaps, a distant second to Marquez Callaway, and only saw two targets- though he possesses the kind of big-play ability to make an impact with fewer opportunities. Quarterback Jameis Winston likes to push the ball downfield, meaning there's a good chance of the signal-caller connecting with Harris on another deep pass against a Panthers defense that gave up a 40-yard catch to Jets receiver Denzel Mims in Week 1. Harris can't be trusted in redraft formats with such a small role in the offense, though he's worth rolling the dice on in DFS formats as a cheap upside play.
