Deon Jackson’s Role For Indianapolis Remains Limited
2 years agoAn increased workload was expected from Indianapolis Colts running back Deon Jackson after Jonathan Taylor was placed on Injured Reserve due to a season-ending ankle injury. But the outlook remains bleak for Jackson, even without their All-Pro rusher. He failed to register a rushing yard but had nine receiving yards in their Week 16 defeat against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Colts may try to run the ball more against the New York Giants, a team tied for the second-worst run-stop win rate at 27 percent. However, Zack Moss may continue to get the lion's share of snaps after solid performances in Weeks 15 and 16. That said, it's best to avoid Jackson because he provides meager value in fantasy football.
