Denzel Mims Reverts To Injured Reserve
1 year agoWide receiver Denzel Mims (ankle, calf) was reverted to the Lions' injured reserve list on Saturday. The wideout, who recently suffered ankle and calf injuries during practice, was waived by the team a few days ago but passed through waivers unclaimed. Mims was traded to Detroit after three uneventful seasons as a New York Jet, amassing 42 catches for 676 yards while failing to find the end zone in 30 games. Detroit will likely reach an injury settlement with the 25-year-old, meaning he'll be waived and become a free agent. While he'll likely find a new team, he probably won't offer much to fantasy managers in the near future.
