1 year agoAccording to NFL insider Matt Lombardo, the Steelers and Patriots are interested in trading for wide receiver Denzel Mims. The Jets reportedly informed the wideout that he'll be released. But the team will make one last effort to move him elsewhere. The 25-year-old has had a disappointing career since entering the league in 2020, amassing 42 receptions for 676 yards in 30 games. Even worse, he is still searching for his first touchdown. Without question, Mims would have benefitted by playing alongside Aaron Rodgers. Yet, if he ends up catching passes from Mac Jones or Kenny Pickett this season, he has a decent chance of becoming a semi-reliable fantasy option in deep formats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
