Denver To Take A Running Back In The Draft
1 day agoChris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette reports that the Denver Broncos intend to take a running back in the 2025 NFL Draft. "We'll get a back in this draft," said Broncos general manager George Paton. Paton also noted that it's a strong draft for running backs. Quarterback Bo Nix elevated Denver's offense across the board last season. However, the running back position left us wanting. Denver intends to rectify that this season by selecting a rusher from a class rich with running backs. The Broncos are picking at No. 20 overall, and they may go for their guy there. Some recent mocks have had the team taking North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton. Whether it's Hampton or one of the other viable athletes, they'll undoubtedly be a trendy pick in fantasy drafts this summer.
