2 years agoThe Denver Nuggets continue to have problems with COVID-19. Jamal Murray entered the health and safety protocols on Thursday. The Nuggets point guard will miss Friday's contest versus the Dallas Mavericks. Not only is Murray out, but two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic also is out due to COVID. Although it doesn't bode well in the win-loss column, Denver's role players can increase their counting numbers during the two stars' absence. Bones Hyland's fantasy managers are licking their chops, as the shoot-first guard has a chance to make another splash like he did last season. The backup point guard is already posting a higher usage rate (30.7) this season than he did during an injury-riddled campaign with the Nuggets in 2021-22.
