Denny McCarthy A High-Risk Option At Olympia Fields
1 year agoIt hasn't been pretty for Denny McCarthy lately, to say the least. The four-time PGA Tour Winner entered the FedEx Cup Playoffs on the heels of two-straight missed cuts, and followed those results up with a T66 last week where he lost 2.7 strokes ball-striking and a career-worst 5.5 strokes putting But prior to those three events, McCarthy posted four-straight top-20 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Memorial in early June. Anything can happen in a field of 50 golfers this week, and the current World No. 37 is projected to be the lowest-owned golfer on the DraftKings slate. Fantasy managers willing to take a risk on McCarthy could be in line for huge rewards or continued heartbreak.
