Denny Hamlin's run for another Daytona 500 title just became a little harder on Sunday. Hamlin's car failed pre-race inspection twice on Sunday morning, resulting in the team's car chief being ejected from the race, as well as the team having to take the green flag in the rear of the field. The penalty also means that Hamlin will lose 15 minutes of practice at Las Vegas next week. Hamlin comes into Daytona tied with Joey Logano as the favorite to win the Great American Race. Hamlin will now likely have to change up his strategy on how best to navigate the race. It is, however, Daytona, so Hamlin will have plenty of time and chances to get to the front.--Daniel BraggRead More News
