Denny Hamlin Settles For Second Again At Richmond
4 years agoDenny Hamlin excelled on short runs all day and was in the lead on the restart with ten laps to go. Then, it happened again. Hamlin was passed this time by Alex Bowman and Bowman pulled away to win. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver settled for second place. Hamlin accumulated the most Cup Series points again (55 this time) but did not get the win. This was Hamlin's eighth top-five finish in nine races. It's an all-time record for that many races without a win. The No. 11 will try again at Talladega next week.
