Denny Hamlin Non-Factor Late, Ends Up Fourth At Atlanta
4 years agoDenny Hamlin had some contact with Kurt Busch around pit lane on Lap 113 after a Kyle Busch spin that caused everyone to check up. That did seem to have some effect on his car later in the race as Hamlin's car was not quite the same during the final run. The result was the Joe Gibbs Racing driver ended up fourth on the day. This is after he started from the pole and led a total of 27 laps. It was another top-five finish for Hamlin as he continues to lead the Cup Series.
