2 years agoDenny Hamlin over the past three seasons has been the most proficient driver on intermediate tracks. Texas is no exception as the 1.5-mile track does set up well for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. With Hamlin now getting a boost in pit crew quality, things may be looking even better. Hamlin qualified eighth for Texas and has won here before (2019). Last year, the No. 18 was right near the top-five (seventh after the first two stages) before a little bump and a slow pit adjustment knocked him down to 11th. The crafty veteran does have eight wins in his last 41 races on intermediate tracks. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
