3 years agoDenny Hamlin has a top-five finish in his last two races at Watkins Glen. Also, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has some nice results this year on road tracks including a third at Daytona and a fifth recently in Wisconsin. The one concern may be laps led as Hamlin has not led more than ten laps in any race since Talladega (three months ago). Part of this just indicates that Hamlin cannot run in the clean air as he should. That early-season run of almost winning seems so long ago. Speed intervals seem to pan out on this as well where Hamlin tails off when close to leading or leading. He can contend on Sunday but can he win? --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
